Mechanical Engineer (32 to 40 hours per week)

What will you do?

As a Mechanical Engineer at RoboPharma in Waalwijk, you are responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing mechatronic products and executing projects. Assignments are provided by the Sales department, and you contact the client to discuss specific requirements. You create the design in Inventor, and if you think you have a better technical solution, you use your expertise to convince the client. After approval, you develop the working drawings, considering the applicable standards and guidelines, and in consultation with the Planning department, you create the team that will build, make operational, and test the machine. Meanwhile, as a Mechanical Engineer, you keep the client informed of progress, monitor the budget, and ensure that the machine is installed on time and in good working order at the client’s site. The assignments range from serial products and small projects to (parts of) large, new, and often complex assignments. Naturally, multiple regional and international assignments run simultaneously. No problem for you, you keep a cool head and maintain an overview.

What do we ask?

You are an independent and solution-oriented person. You can keep an overview and set priorities. You are communicatively strong and can deal well with different people. Additionally:

• You have an HBO level in engineering.
• You have several years of experience in engineering for machine construction or production automation and have worked with Inventor or a similar 3D CAD package.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English.
• Do you also have experience with standards and guidelines that apply meet relevant laws, regulations, and safety requirements? Then that is certainly a plus.
