Website RoboPharma

Are you passionate about control technology and do you thrive on well-functioning machines and satisfied customers? Then you are the PLC Programmer we are looking for!

Role

As a Software Engineer Control Technology at RoboPharma in Waalwijk, you will be involved in control technology from A to Z. From conceptualization to testing and everything in between! Our projects range from small to large and from national to international, making every day unique. You will work independently one moment and in a project team the next. Together, you discuss various customer requirements and find solutions. Your input is valued! Even with complex issues and malfunctions, you will leverage your expertise to pleasantly surprise our customers. All machine systems are initially built in our workshop in Waalwijk and later installed on-site. Often, you are the final person at the customer site to ensure not only machine control, but the entire machine operates properly. Plenty of responsibility, variety, and interaction await!

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer Control Technology / PLC Programmer, you are responsible for the selection, construction, and operation of machine controls, ranging from small to large projects. Your daily tasks include:

  • Programming complete machine controls including safety and HMI
  • Commissioning machines and adjusting dynamic systems
  • Contributing to the development of electrical designs
  • Resolving complex malfunctions and providing technical support to colleagues on-site, even when beyond control technology (e.g., bug-tracking in PC software and data analysis from databases)
  • Contributing to structural improvements in control and broader areas (mechanical, electrical, and procedural)
  • If you are interested in or want to develop further in hardware/electrical aspects, we encourage that too!

What We Offer

RoboPharma is a rapidly growing organization that values attention to its employees. Your personal and professional development is our priority. Additionally, you can expect:

  • A full-time or part-time position in an ambitious and innovative company. Due to the variety of processes and people you work with, no day is the same
  • A pleasant working environment where results matter, but respect for each other and a warm atmosphere prevail
  • Enjoyable moments with colleagues, such as fresh soup in the cafeteria every week, Friday afternoon drinks, annual BBQ, and optional table tennis during breaks!
  • A salary between €3,500 and €5,000 gross per month based on full-time employment, depending on your experience and expertise
  • Provided with a laptop and smartphone
  • A good pension scheme, travel allowance, and 8% holiday pay
  • Excellent additional employment conditions. Moreover, we invest in developing your talents
  • A one-year contract. If both parties are satisfied, we offer you a permanent position

Requirements

You take responsibility for your projects and feel proud when they are completed to everyone’s satisfaction. You find it easy to communicate with customers. Creativity, initiative, flexibility, and collaboration come naturally to you, as does your good humor and proactive attitude. Additionally:

  • You have HBO-level education or equivalent work experience
  • You have experience in programming machine controls, preferably with Siemens PLCs
  • You have a knack for adjusting mechatronic systems and enjoy working on aspects like motion control and machine vision
  • You have broad knowledge of computers, IT, and networks, with a strong affinity for industrial automation and machine building
  • You are willing to work on-site domestically and occasionally internationally. Interested in more international travel? That’s possible too!
  • Experience with electrical schematics in E-plan is a plus
  • Finally, you have excellent command of both Dutch and English

We understand you may not meet all our requirements. Feel free to apply; we’d love to discuss further with you.
