Ward robot
The RoboPharma Ward Robot is a compact and modular channel based system which provides the optimum solution for safe, timely and auditable access to a specific range of medicines as required by individual departments such as wards, A&E, walk in centres, major and minor injuries units etc.
Dimensions
Height 2100mm
Width 875mm
Depth 1000mm
Capacity
The standard ward robot contains 28 channel modules, (4 columns of 7 rows). Each channel module contains a maximum of 5 separate channels, therefore providing storage for a theoretical range of 140 different packs. With a channel length of 600 mm, each channel can store up to 6 packs (assuming a pack length of 100mm) giving a maximum theoretical capacity of 840 packs.
In practice, the actual capacity is lower due to the need to store different sizes of packs. Each ward and hospital will have different storage requirements, the recommended channel configuration of the ward robot will be determined after we received a detailed product list.
Variations
At RoboPharma, we design and manufacture all our automation solutions in house. It is therefore possible to alter the size and storage capacity of our Ward Robot to meet your specific requirements.
Features
The system facilitates the use of bar code technology and can also deal with non bar coded stock by manual input via a touch screen if required.
The system has the ability to be remotely queried by the pharmacy department to check stock and be centrally replenished.
The dispenser can be easily reconfigured if the stock list changes. The dispenser incorporates a combination of channel types to suit the different pack dimensions. These channel types can easily be replaced on site if required.
The system can be easily administered as all staff will have a unique ID. These ID’s can be added or deleted as required.
The RoboPharma concept is of robust construction and resistant to attack. An option of opaque or transparent panels is available for the front of the dispenser, dependant on the level of product visibility required.
